On the shore of the clear-water lake Virmajärvi, about 22 km from Savitaipale, locates charming cottage called
Sinituuli (Blue Wind). The two-story property does not lack a classic Finnish cottage atmosphere or lansdscape. Still, comprehensive equipment and spacious cabin space make vacationing easy for both larger family groups and groups of friends.

The cottage has electricity, running water and a WLAN connection. The equipment includes e.g. dishwasher, washing machine, full kitchen equipment, electric and wood sauna, TV and a sound system. For smaller children in the family, there is also a crib if necessary. The cottage is habitable for the winter.

There are two larger bedrooms and one smaller one downstairs. Upstairs, in the large loft area, there is total of four beds and a plenty of space for extra beds, if needed.

Swimming and reaching the refreshing water is easy from the sandy beach or from the pier. You can also get to know the atmosphere and fishing opportunities of Lake Virmajärvi, known for its trout population, on a rowing boat called Ponsi.

For lovers of outdoor cooking, there is a wood grill and a dining area. A few minutes' walk from the cabin there is also a shed and a campfire point at a small swimming beach.

For winter activities, you can easily go to ice fishing from the cabin, and there are also snowmobile trails nearby. The ski trail networks are located near the center of Savitaipale.

In the summer and autumn seasons, the forests in the nearby regions have an excellent supply of mushrooms and berries.
