Suvikumpu is located in Niihama, on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi, about 10 kilometers from the center of Tampere. The cottage is in a quiet location surrounded by forest, but still quite close to Linnainmaa comprehensive services such as two large supermarkets Prisma and K-Citymarket. The cottage has its own beach. However, the beach is mud-bottomed, so it is not really suitable for bathing. However, there is a large outdoor bathtub in the cottage that is free to use during your stay. There is also a rowing boat for your use.

There is also a bus route to the center of Tampere from the vicinity of the cottage, Niihama, a few times a day. There is a bus stop (Teiskontie) in Linnainmaa is just over 3 km away and there is also the Niihama car park, where you can park your car for free and continue to travel by bus if desired. The name of the stop is Niihamankatu P.

Downstairs there is a kitchen, living room, fireplace, sauna and two separate bedrooms with a total of 3 beds. Upstairs there is a loft divided into two parts by a partition wall with a total of 3 beds. The cottage also has two mattresses for extra beds. The size of the cottage is 83m2 + loft. In the yard you will find a large terrace with a dining table, gas grill, sitting area and large outdoor bathtub. Your outdoor toilet can be found right outside the cottage proximity and is built in a separate building which also comes with running water for hand washing.
